It's the worst thing to ever happen to anyone.
My wife died unexpectedly.
She brought me so much joy.
She was my everything.
Those 16 years of being her husband taught me how to love unconditionally.
We have to stop and be thankful for our loved ones.
Because life is very short.
Spend time with your people.
Treat them well and enjoy their company..
Because, one day, when you look up from your phone, they won't be there anymore.
What I truly learned most of all is, live and love every day like it's your last-
Because one day, it will be.
Take chances and go live life and have no regrets.
Tell the ones you love, that you love them every day and show them that.
Don't take any moment for granted.

Every day, tell your people that you love them.
Even more than that, show them just how much you do love them.
Put down the phones, turn off the tv and be present.
You won't ever get those moments back, so spend them loving your people.
Make memories, just be there and be happy.
Don't ever become the person who wishes they had loved more, lived more and enjoyed their time here.
Because we only get one chance at this thing called life.
Take the path less traveled.
Eat the cake, try that food you've been scared to try, take the trip you've always wanted to go on.
Take the dance lesson, make a new friend, try something that makes you grow.
Don't be content just going through the motions of your life-
Find the people and the things that make you feel passionately alive and want to experience it all- they're the keepers.
Step out of your comfort zone, hold your loved one's hand and truly live.
I spent so many years of my life playing it safe-
Until someone loved me enough to make me start living and trying new things.
Don't let life pass you by.
I want you to smile as you look back over your life like I will..
Because you've led a happy life, living and loving in all the ways that made you happy..
And if we're honest about it-
We can't ask for much more than that, can we?
I'll take a glance back and simply smile, because I've truly lived and loved.
