We’ll be getting curious about the natural world, enjoying some fun nature-themed activities and making memories together in our little spot of nature in Barrowby, Grantham 🌱🍄🦋

👣 For confident walkers through to pre-school age
👶 Baby siblings who aren’t walking yet can join in FREE!

Summer Party – Rescheduled ⛈️

Unfortunately, due to the forecasted risk of thunderstorms tomorrow, I have made the decision to cancel the Summer Party session.

While rain alone would not normally mean cancelling, the risk of thunderstorms means that, as an outdoor session for toddlers, I cannot safely go ahead.

Everyone booked onto tomorrow’s session has been contacted directly via email ❤️‍🩹

The Summer Party has now been rescheduled to Saturday 19th September, in the hope of much better weather! 🌤️

Thank you for your understanding, and I’m sorry for any disappointment caused. I look forward to celebrating with you all in September! 💛

🌿✨ What a lovely morning at Stay & Play! ✨🌿

The sun was shining ☀️, the woodland was buzzing with little voices, and we were surrounded by plenty of giggles, exploring and imaginative play! 🐞🌳💚

🐻🥣 Three Little Bears Porridge Tray
We loved scooping, pouring and role-playing, using little spoons and pots to practise those all-important fine motor skills. 🥄✨

🍋💜 Lemon & Lavender Water Play
Our water tray smelt absolutely wonderful! We explored colourful water, scooping, pouring and splashing our way through a sensory adventure. 💦🌈🌿

🪻🦋 Lolly Stick Dragonflies
We got creative making our very own dragonflies, practising tracing around our fingers, cutting and sticking along the way. ✂️🖐️✨

🌱🤲 Natural Dough Play
Our natural dough table was as popular as ever! Lots of squishing, squashing, rolling and shape cutting — perfect for busy little hands. 🌿💚

🔥📖🎶 And to finish off our morning, we gathered around the fire for a story and a sing-song. What a magical way to end our session! ❤️🌳

☀️🌿 What a wonderful morning of outdoor adventures! 🐝🌸

The sun was shining and we had SO much fun getting stuck into some messy, creative and nature-filled activities! 💚

🐷💦 We gave our muddy piggies a good scrub in the water play tray, using sponges, brushes and pipettes to get them sparkling clean!

🐞🎨 We decorated our very own wooden bugs using colourful pens, crayons, petals and lots of beautiful craft materials. 🌼🦋

🌿🔎 We challenged our brains with some pattern-following using loose parts — lots of thinking, matching and exploring!

💜🌱 Our nature dough table smelt absolutely amazing with lavender! We strengthened those all-important little hand muscles by squishing, rolling, pressing and using cutters. ✋✨

🔥☕️ We finished our session with a delicious hot chocolate made using the Kelly kettle, followed by a lovely story all about bees. 🐝📖 We even had the chance to carefully handle some real honeycomb — what a special experience! 🍯🌼

🌻✨ What a wonderful morning at our Stay & Play Session! ✨🌻

We’ve had the loveliest time exploring, creating, imagining and getting a little bit messy! 🥰💛

🌻 Sunflower masterpieces – We created our very own sunflower pictures using paper roll tubes, paint and real sunflower seeds. 🎨 So many beautiful creations!

🫧 Nature potion making – Our water table was transformed into a magical potion station! ✨ We mixed colourful bubbly water with leaves, feathers, petals and used lots of different scoops and pipettes to create our wonderful concoctions. 🧪🍃🪶🌸

🌻 Sunflower Nature Dough – We squished sunflower seeds into the dough, rolled, cut and moulded it into all sorts of shapes. Such a wonderful sensory activity! 🤲

🐄 Down on the farm – We visited Old MacDonald with our farm-themed small world tray! 🐷🐑🐮 It was so much fun using our imaginations and getting stuck into some fantastic role play. 🚜

🔥 Cosy campfire finale – We finished our morning with a yummy snack, a lovely story and lots of singing around our cosy campfire. 📖🎶What a perfect way to end a magical session!
