At Halling Wharf Studios, the façade upgrade went far beyond appearance.

All non-compliant timber cladding, insulation and render were removed and replaced with compliant systems across the development, improving fire safety and renewing the building envelope for the long term.

Delivered on a busy, occupied residential site, the project also included new fire-stopping solutions, replacement louvre vents, and roof repairs using the Proteus waterproofing system.

A complex programme completed safely, efficiently and in line with current fire safety requirements.

Capital Wharf involved a full fire remediation and building envelope upgrade focused on removing combustible materials across the development.

The works included the removal and replacement of combustible façade systems, insulated aluminium panels, spandrel panels and timber balcony decking with fully non-combustible alternatives throughout the building.

Additional roofing works using the Pro-Cold liquid waterproofing system were carried out alongside the façade remediation to improve long-term protection and durability.

Delivered over a 24-week programme, the project was designed to reduce fire risk at its source while bringing the building in line with modern safety standards.

We’re incredibly proud to share that we have won the Cold Applied Liquid Waterproofing category at the UK Roofing Awards 2026, working alongside

The award recognises our work on The Library at Murray Edwards College, a project that required close collaboration, attention to detail and a shared commitment to delivering the highest standard throughout.
