The Garage: A full scale warehouse conversion we completed in 2016, nominated for a building regulation award and featured in magazine in 2020.

We designed and custom built this concrete fireplace to give the vast gallery like space a bit of character and focal point. Originally planned and built for a wide wood burner, the house was so well insulated and warm it was removed from plans and kept open for the future.

Trust the process. We converted a disused warehouse, garage in central Bath into a two bedroom, two bathroom house filled with light and an abundance of space and storage. From seeing the potential in this crumbling building tucked just behind the Royal Crescent, to designing and managing the conversion we went through many processes including strengthening wall foundations, implementing acoustic ceilings, tanking all walls and designing a light well to capitalise on odd shaped rooms. Nominated in 2017 for a B&NES Building Control Award.
