Chandelier installation completed recently!

Our customer got in touch after having difficulty finding someone able to take on the installation due to the height and location.

The job involved assembling this impressive chandelier and installing it around 12ft high above the staircase — definitely not your everyday light fitting!

All safely installed and looking fantastic.

Most importantly, the customer was really happy with the quick turnaround and service.

Over the past week we’ve been busy getting everything ready for the Carnwath Show, and what a fantastic event it turned out to be!

Our job was to fully wire the main marquee, including installing all the sockets, running every cable safely and neatly (if we do say so ourselves 😉), hanging all the lighting, fitting external security lighting, organising delivery of the generator and getting everything connected up and running.

On Saturday we were in and out throughout the day making sure the generator and all the electrics were running smoothly, and thankfully everything went exactly to plan.

We also managed to take the kids along for a few hours to enjoy the show. They loved the children’s rides, seeing all the sheep, cows and horses, having a look around the poultry tent, picking up some beautiful handmade crafts from the craft tent, and of course our son was fascinated by all the agricultural machinery! Also had some delicious chips from one of the catering vans.

While checking on the generator, we even caught a glimpse of the famous Pie, Beer & Shear competition, which was brilliant entertainment!

A huge well done to everyone involved in organising such a fantastic event. It was great to play a part in making it happen.

Safe to say we had such a good time that we completely forgot to take any photos! 😂 Sometimes that’s the sign of a great day.

Next year we’re definitely planning ahead, booking the babysitters, and spending the whole day (and evening!) there child-free so we can enjoy everything the show has to offer… including making good use of the bar! 🍻

It’s been a little quiet on here recently… but that’s because we’ve been incredibly busy behind the scenes!

A huge thank you to all of our customers for keeping us so busy over the past few months. Your continued support means a lot to us.

July is shaping up to be another packed month. Alongside our usual domestic, commercial and agricultural work, we’ll also be busy preparing for and carrying out the electrical installation for the upcoming Carnwath Show.

We’re looking forward to being part of another fantastic event and can’t wait to see it all come together.

I was called out to a local shop after they noticed a burning smell coming from their electrical installation.

On inspection, I found the main supply cable feeding the meter had severely overheated and was beginning to break down – as you can see in the photos.

This is the kind of fault that can very quickly escalate into a fire if left unchecked. The shop owners were extremely lucky they acted when they did.

This is exactly why an EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report) is so important.

An EICR can identify:
• Overheating cables
• Loose or failing connections
• Signs of wear and deterioration
• Potential fire risks before they become dangerous

We’ve recently completed a full electrical installation for Hamilton & Brown, now open in the Livingston Designer Outlet.

This project took a serious amount of time, planning, and hours on site to get everything completed to the standard we expect. Long days, early starts, and plenty of graft went into making sure everything was up to our standard💪

Scope of works included:
✔️ Full new electrical installation
✔️ Extensive lighting install across the shop floor
✔️ Large socket install throughout
✔️ Complete industrial kitchen power supply
✔️ Back-of-house, refrigeration & prep areas
✔️ Full EIC carried out and completed

From front of house retail to a fully functioning commercial kitchen, every detail was covered.

We’re proud of how this one turned out — a proper transformation.

Proud to be part of something life-saving.

We recently had the privilege of installing two public access defibrillators in Airdrie, made possible by the incredible fundraising efforts of a local family and community, in memory of a much-loved individual.

We’ve been extremely busy with some large ongoing projects, but were more than happy to take time out to be part of something so important.

These devices can make all the difference in an emergency, giving someone the best possible chance when every second counts.

A huge well done to everyone involved!
Your hard work will help protect others in the community for years to come.
