A friend of mine gave me a call while he was K rendering this property and asked if I could come over to take a look at replacing the soffits, fascias and guttering.

As the job progressed, we ended up taking on a lot more work due to the poor workmanship from previous trades.

So far we’ve:
• Carried out extensive roofing repairs.
• Re-bedded and pointed all ridge and bonnet tiles.
• Installed new lintels above the doorways.
• Re-clad the soffits and fascias.
• Fitted new metal guttering.

We will be returning once the K rendering has been completed to install the new downpipes and carry out the final finishing touches.

There’s still a lot of work left to do on this project, but we’re squeezing it in around our other jobs to try and help out the couple who own the property.

Looking forward to it all coming together, as it’s going to be a beautiful house once it’s finished.

A productive day at the in-laws’ farm!

We’re extending the car park to make a bit more space, so the first job was digging the footing for a small retaining wall.

Concrete day went smoothly too, with my father-in-law lending a hand on the Manitou, complete with my pan mixer attached.

30°C+ heat, fresh concrete, and a busy day with Holt plant and groundworks.
New concrete driveway laid, plus holes cut and dug for a new cattle dividing partition in the barn.
Kept the concrete cool with plenty of water, and the customer finished it off with sprinklers to help it cure properly and prevent cracking. Great effort by everyone involved! 💪☀️ 🚜

We converted a small downstairs WC into a much larger, more practical bathroom by knocking through into the entrance hall and completely reconfiguring the space.

As part of the renovation, we installed underfloor heating, laid new LVT flooring, fitted a new window to bring in more natural light, installed new ceiling rafters, and finished the walls with a one-coat sponge finish to preserve the cottage character throughout the property.

The transformation has given the family so much more space, comfort and practicality creating a room they’ll enjoy for years to come.

The clients have now taken over to add their own finishing touches with the decorating, and we can’t wait to see the completed room once it’s all finished.

Another quality project completed and another happy customer!

A Garden patio transformation completed over the last few days.
We removed the old patio and relaid the area with new buff riven slabs, creating a fresh and attractive outdoor space.
We also built new steps to provide easier access to the garden and finished off the front of the property with fresh, clean gravel for a neat and tidy appearance.

Another happy customer and a great improvement to the overall look and functionality of the property.

Today’s job.

We were up helping Holt Plant and Groundworks today on a dairy farm, carrying out the second concrete pour in the new cattle shed.

We finished the feed passage with a grooved finish to give the cows extra grip when walking over it.

Top job Zak’s been doing — all he has left to do is hang the gates and fit the feed bars.
