💵 Energy bills are making headlines again with the biggest rise in 4 years forecast.

The BBC reports that a typical household’s annual energy bill could rise by £276 from January. That’s a predicted increase of 16%, just when we’re using more energy in the middle of winter.

You can’t control energy prices, but you can take more control of how you power your home. Solar panels let you generate your own electricity, while battery storage lets you save spare solar energy for later, helping you buy less from the grid.

At Encom, we design solar and battery systems around your home and how you use energy. We’ll talk you through what could work for you and the savings you could expect. Send us a message for your FREE solar quote.

☀️ Thinking about solar for your home? Here’s a date worth keeping in mind.

The current 0% VAT rate on qualifying UK home solar installations is due to end on 31 March 2027, with VAT returning to 5% from 1 April 2027.

To put that into perspective, an installation costing £10,000 before VAT will cost an extra £500 once the rate changes. April may seem a long way off but if you’re worried about rising energy costs and considering solar, now is the time to lock in the discount on your Encom Solar installation.

Get in touch with our team for a free, no-obligation survey and find out how much you could save.
