Earthworks carried out in Matlock.
The raised area needed to be dropped by 3.5ft and prepared ready for another trade to carry out some works in the area.
18 tons of earth removed. Due to the layout of the garden and the steep terraces, all 18 tons had to be dug out by hand and carried to the top of the garden in buckets ready for the grab.

Commercial building in Derby was suffering from a leak on one corner of the 5000 sqf flat roof. This was disrupting business as it was dripping directly onto one of the technician's ramps below.
All rectified with a very heavy duty rubber seal, leak tested and ready to face bad weather. On to the next one.

Ivy cut back for a repeat customer in Wessington. While it is causing some decay in the mortar, the customer likes the aesthetic look so growth control is our only option.

Gate post and fence stake had rotted, causing the gate to fall off and the fence to bend.
1 gate post, 1 stake and 2 rails later, the fence was fixed and the gate hung back.
The fence did have some finishing touches that were done after these photos including the top rail lifted and the rail ends cut straight.

We were called in by a long standing customer to correct these sleepers that had been placed in the ground, free standing. They had moved due to the soil behind pushing on them.
We:
Corrected the plumb levels
Dug a trench to the front
Screwed tie rods into each sleeper
Put a strong concrete mix in the trench

All straightened up and strong again. Another layer of type 1 MOT and this are will be complete.
