Some projects are special from the very beginning… and this was certainly one of them. ✨

Our customer came to us with a vision for something completely unique, a stunning flowing S-shaped island designed to become the true centrepiece of this beautiful new extension.

Featuring elegant Almond Beige slab doors paired with striking Cupria Slate cabinetry, this kitchen blends soft warm tones with rich texture, all tied together with warm metallic accents throughout for a luxurious contemporary feel.

The showstopping island has been finished in breathtaking Strata Kashmin Quartz, while the sink run and splashback have been completed in sleek Dekton quartz for a seamless, premium finish.

A huge thank you to for creating such a fantastic space and for their incredible work bringing this masterpiece together. 👏

Been designing loads of kitchens lately, so thought I’d share a few of the renders from the past few months 👀✨

Some of these are already completed, some are in the works, and some have gone in a different direction entirely… but that’s all part of the journey when designing someone’s dream space.

Massive thanks to everyone who’s trusted me with their ideas, inspiration, and homes 🙌 It’s genuinely a privilege turning conversations and sketches into visuals people can get excited about.

I’ve loved designing every single one of these… and seeing people’s reactions to the renders is always the best part.

And the final render on this one… is a bit special indeed 👀🔥

Such a great couple of days at the KBB event in Birmingham this week 🙌

All the best kitchen, bathroom and bedroom suppliers under one roof… loads of innovation, inspiration and some seriously beautiful products on show 👌

But honestly one of the best parts was catching up with friends in the industry. We’re all scattered around different parts of the country (and even different countries) so it’s not often we get to see each other.

Good people, good vibes, lots of laughs and plenty of inspiration to bring back to 1066 Kitchens ✨

The sample stand is finally taking shape 🙌
Housing over a hundred different kitchen doors, it’s now in place in the showroom and already making a huge difference to the design process.

It’s still very much a work in progress, but being able to properly see, feel, and compare finishes all in one place is a big step forward.
Another milestone for the showroom — with more to come.

Looking back on last year, I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported, trusted, and backed 1066 Kitchens.

1066 Kitchens is me and every conversation, recommendation, and bit of support genuinely means a lot.

This year is about taking everything up a level. Bigger ideas, better design, smoother processes, stronger partnerships, and kitchens that flow better and feel different to the ordinary.

Wishing everyone a brilliant year ahead. More to come.

After nearly two years of searching, our client had just about seen every shade of green on offer from local manufacturers — none of them quite right. They had a very specific vision in mind, and colour was non-negotiable.

That’s when they came to us.

We were able to source a beautifully crafted paint-to-order timber beaded kitchen, finished in Farrow & Ball’s Studio Green — the exact tone they’d been holding out for all along. Rich, timeless, and full of depth, it completely transformed the space and finally brought their idea to life.

The kitchen was self-installed by the customer and their father, a real labour of love, and a great example of how the right product makes all the difference.

This is exactly why we love what we do. We’re not restricted to standard ranges or limited palettes — if you can imagine it, we can usually make it happen. Any colour, any finish, painted to order, without compromise.

Because great kitchens aren’t about what’s available… they’re about what feels right.

An honour to be involved in such a prestigious venue 🙌
The space features natural oak wrapped doors with push-to-open hinges paired with Corian worktops for a clean, modern finish 🤍
