🚨 It's time to prioritise you and your family! 🚨
At Mr Fuse Box, we are on a mission to ensure that every home and business is fully equipped with a fully functional fire alarm. Don't wait for a warning sign, or worse, a close call. It's important that you act today!
Remember, a fire alarm is your first line of defense in the event of a fire, it's not just a device, it's life saving.

1️⃣ Locate the test button on your fire alarm. It's usually a small, round button on the face of your device.
2️⃣ Inform your household before you begin the test to avoid any panic or confusion.
3️⃣ Press and hold the test button. You should hear a loud siren if the fire alarm is working correctly. If the sound is weak or non existent, it's time for a battery change or a professional check up.
4️⃣ Check multi alarm systems if you have a connected system. Make sure that 𝗮𝗹𝗹 alarms are sounding off, this is crucial for larger homes where an alarm may be triggered in a distant room.
5️⃣ Inspect visual indicators. Some alarms have flashing lights or other visual indicators. Make sure these are functioning as they indicate the alarm's operational status.
6️⃣ Schedule regular checks. Test your fire alarm monthly and replace batteries yearly or as soon as you hear the low-battery warning, which is usually a chirping sound. (You know that very irritating sound, change the batteries and that will stop)
🔥 Remember, while testing your fire alarm is important, it doesn't replace professional inspection and maintenance. At Mr Fuse Box, we are dedicated to ensuring that your fire alarms are in top condition, providing you with peace of mind and utmost safety.
