Just before Christmas Gareth revisited a site where we played a fundamental role in the installation of a Lely Astronaut Robotic Milker.

Whilst he was there he took some pictures and videos of the milker in action. Having grown up on a dairy farm with a herringbone parlour it was really interesting to see this innovative technology in action.

The Lely Astronaut milking robot allows cows to be milked when they choose, reducing stress and improving welfare, while helping increase milk yield and quality. It saves labour and time for farmers, improves udder health through consistent milking, and provides detailed herd data for better management decisions.

It’s rewarding to play a small part in projects like this that are helping to modernise dairy farming and support more sustainable, welfare-focused systems for the future.

Site Visit: Continued Progress at Weaving Machinery

Mary headed back over to Weaving Machinery in Chadbury last week to check in on the latest progress and things are really starting to take shape!

With second fix nearly complete, the new office and showroom building is transitioning quickly from construction site to fully functioning workspace. The sleek showroom areas are beginning to reveal how impressive the final fit-out will be, ready to display their range of agricultural machinery.

Pritchard Electrical has been working hard behind the scenes, delivering the full electrical installation alongside the fire alarm system, CCTV, data network, and audio-visual setup. It’s great to see all these systems coming together as we move closer to the finish line 🪄

✨ It’s that time of year again! ✨

The Pritchard Electrical Ltd elves, aka Chandler & Fin are out bringing festive cheer to Bidford-on-Avon as they put up the village Christmas lights and trees. 🎄⭐

Over the coming days, they will put up circa 70 stars and 8 Christmas trees to make our lovely village shine for the big switch-on!

All the stars have been dressed in fresh, sparkly tinsel, catching the autumn sunshine perfectly this morning. ✨🌞
