Stuart's pretty excited about what's happening in Shenfield, and with good reason!

We've recently secured a new contract, with the support of Brentwood BID, to help keep Brentwood and Shenfield high streets looking their best throughout the year.

From seasonal planting to colourful floral displays, our team will be bringing a splash of colour to our local shopping areas, whatever the season.

As a local business, it's a fantastic project to be involved in and one we're particularly proud of.

SUMMER 2027 STARTS RIGHT HERE.

It might not look particularly glamorous at the moment, but we're taking this garden to another level. Quite literally.

Stuart takes us through the groundwork as we elevate the garden with an additional porcelain patio, creating a new seating area designed to make the most of the early morning sunshine.

It's busy, it's muddy and there's plenty to organise. But getting the foundations right is what makes everything else possible.

TAKING SHAPE IN CLIFFTOWN… 🪨🌿

Another progress update from our project in the Clifftown Conservation Area in Southend, and you can really start to see the design coming together now.

The sweeping steel edging is defining the curves of the new pathways, while the team are carefully laying the cobblestones section by section to create the hard landscaping that will wind its way through the finished garden.

Then there are the rocks. And some of them are rather substantial.

Thankfully, the Bobcat was on hand to do the heavy lifting, allowing us to carefully manoeuvre the larger feature stones into position - including the centrepiece within the circular pathway.

There’s still plenty to do, but with the shapes established, cobbles going down and the feature stones finding their homes, we're getting a much better glimpse of what the finished garden is going to look like.

Sometimes landscaping requires a delicate touch.

Sometimes it requires a Bobcat.

Stuart’s back with another update from our Leigh-on-Sea project, where this multi-level garden is really beginning to take shape.

The trenching sheets are being welded, positioned and fixed into place, creating the structure for the different levels and the pathway that will eventually wind its way through the garden.

It might all look a little industrial at the moment, but the transformation will come when everything is backfilled with gorgeous soil and softened with a carefully considered mix of elegant planting, perennials and greenery all working together.

And Zack? He’s taking it all in. Every day’s a learning day when you’re working alongside Stuart.

As for Stuart himself…

Well, the sheer beauty of the whole thing appears to have left him quite breathless. 😮‍💨

Hard to believe it’s almost been a week since we were setting up at Audley End with the gang!

There were plenty of smiles by the time the Elevated Garden Living garden was finished - especially once we’d picked up Platinum and Best Showcase Garden - but getting there wasn’t quite so glamorous.

This picture of Paul from Designscape pretty much sums up what it’s like trying to bring your carefully planned vision to life while the British weather has other ideas.

Rain. Mud. More rain. Questioning your life choices. Carry on regardless.

But the big question is this: What was going through Paul’s head at this exact moment?

THIS IS LANDSCAPING.

We’re taking our Leigh-on-Sea project to a whole new level - quite literally.

Not every stage is picture-perfect, but every stage matters. Before the paving, planting and finishing touches comes the serious stuff: groundworks, retaining structures, changing levels and some pretty substantial engineering.

It’s the part of landscaping you don’t normally see, but it’s what makes everything that follows possible.

There’s plenty more to come from this one.
