The team helping turn projects into reality.

From early planning through to final delivery, our Contract Managers and Project Managers play a key role in keeping projects moving, coordinating teams, managing programmes and ensuring high standards are maintained at every stage.

Working closely with clients, design teams, production and site teams, they help make sure every project is delivered with quality, precision and attention to detail from concept through to completion.

From drawing board to workshop floor.

Every project starts with detailed planning, technical drawings and precision design, before being brought to life by the team in our workshop. It’s where measurements, materials and manufacturing come together to turn concepts into high quality joinery, built with accuracy at every stage.

Today marks World Environment Day. 🌍 At BA Joinery, sustainability is something we’re continually building into the way we work, not just in the projects we deliver but across our day to day operations.

Over the last year, 50% of our spray finishes have been moved to water based alternatives, with further improvements already being explored. Our biomass boiler system also continues to play an important role in reducing emissions, helping lower natural gas consumption by recycling wood chips generated through our manufacturing processes.

Alongside this, we continue to prioritise responsible sourcing, reduce waste where possible and look for opportunities to repurpose materials across projects, creating practical solutions with long term value in mind.

Progress matters, and we know small changes add up.

This month, Anthony marks an incredible 1️⃣0️⃣ years with BA Joinery! 👏🏼 Over the years, Anthony has become a highly valued and respected member of the team, known for his strong work ethic, attention to detail and dependable approach.

Taking pride in producing high quality work and supporting those around him in the workshop, Anthony consistently helps maintain the standards we’re known for across the business.

Thank you, Anthony, for 10 years of hard work and dedication to BA Joinery, it’s hugely appreciated by everyone across the business.

A little behind the scenes of something big currently taking shape in the workshop…

Our Bench Joiner, Richard Wass, hard at work on a large bespoke tiered seating installation for an upcoming commercial project. From detailed bench work through to final assembly, projects like this showcase the level of skill, precision and teamwork that goes into manufacturing at BA Joinery.

We can’t share too much just yet, but this is one we’re looking forward to revealing when the time is right. Keep an eye out for the finished result and the before and after.

Celebrating two important milestones this week at BA Joinery as we recognise Stuart Ludlam and Philip King for their long-standing commitment to the business.👏🏼

Stu marks 1️⃣5️⃣ years with BA Joinery, having joined the team on 1st June 2010. Over the years, he has become a highly respected member of the machine shop, known for his technical ability, reliability and keen eye for precision. Alongside his work in the workshop, Stu has also played an important role in supporting the automation side of the business, helping us embrace more modern manufacturing methods and improved efficiencies across production.

Phil celebrates 1️⃣2️⃣ years with BA Joinery, joining on 2nd June 2014. As a valued member of the machine shop team, Phil plays an important role in the preparation and cutting of components across a wide range of materials. His attention to detail, consistency and knowledge of workshop processes have made him a dependable and respected part of the team.

Long-serving employees like Stu and Phil play a huge part in the continued success of BA Joinery. Their hard work, experience and commitment help keep standards high across the workshop every day.

Thank you both for everything you’ve contributed over the years, and congratulations on these incredible milestones.

As we come to the end of the month, it feels like a fitting time to reflect on an important milestone for BA Joinery, 1️⃣8️⃣ years in business.

Over nearly two decades, the business has grown through strong leadership, long standing relationships and a commitment to delivering high quality projects across the UK.

Led by Managing Director Steve McDonald, BA continues to evolve with a clear focus on the future. Alongside him, Peter Marwood plays a key role in driving production and operational excellence, helping ensure the workshop continues to meet the demands of a modern construction industry through smart processes and continuous improvement.

At Group level, Dan Ho**er continues to help shape the wider strategic direction of the business, supporting long term growth and ensuring the right foundations are in place for the next chapter.

18 years on, and we’re still building, improving and looking ahead. A huge thank you to the people, partners and team who continue to be part of the journey.

Proud to showcase our work at Newcastle University Kings Gate refurbishment, delivered in partnership with Overbury Manchester.🎓

This bespoke joinery package included feature tiered seating, reception and collaboration areas, architectural wall panelling, timber screens, bespoke workstations, coffee pod counters and high spec interior finishes throughout the space.

Designed to enhance the student experience and support modern learning environments, the project balances functionality, durability and contemporary design, all manufactured and installed by BA Joinery.

A high quality education fit out delivered with precision, care and attention to detail from design through to installation.
