Really should update our work more often!.
This was one from early this year, not a extension but a great project all the same.
Sigouri Ban, BurntOak art studio, it’s hard to tell by looking but the burnt oak cladding isn’t continuous, it has ‘exactly’ 15mm gaps all the way around even at all window reveals so none of the oak was cut by us, we had a challenge of setting out the concrete raft to suit finished size from day one including allowing for studwork, ply, cement board, 2 opposing layers of lats, 3 different breathable membranes, insect mesh and finally the cladding itself, and that’s just the outside!.
Finished internally with birch faced ply and worktops made by our selves on site.
Very happy customers, great project.
