August done & dusted 🤟🏽⚡️

Like most businesses, we have our quieter periods — and we’re not afraid to admit it.

August gave us a good opportunity to take stock, get organised and prepare for what’s shaping up to be a very busy few months ahead, with three major projects all kicking off over the coming weeks.

One of those projects is a new solar farm, which we started midway through August. Our scope includes inverter installation, LV cabling, terminations and earthing works, with plenty more still to come as the project progresses.

We also returned to a hospital for the second year running to carry out their annual ACB, PFC and earth mat maintenance. It’s always great to be invited back by an existing client and continue building those long-term working relationshipsThere’s been plenty happening behind the scenes, and September is already shaping up to be a busy one.

Lost count of the amount of times people have said ‘who’s needs gym when you’re doing this’ 🤣

Over 5 tonnes of combined weight lifted by our 3 engineers, 30 miles walked & 42 Invertors installed the last 2 days 😮‍💨

A solid effort by the team. 1 more day & we should have all Invertors installed which we can, then we move onto the LV terminations ☀️

New project, clean van, and the sun even trying to make an appearance — not a bad way to start the week ☀️

Over the next few weeks, we’ve got plenty to get stuck into:

• 72 inverters to mount
• Both ends of 72 x 300mm² 3-core cabling and earthing to terminate
• 10 sets of 33kV cabling to terminate and test
• Underground earthing works

A busy few weeks ahead, but we’re looking forward to getting stuck into this one and seeing it take shape. ⚡️💪
