Bravo Bradley! Great job!
Simon's son recently ran the Birmingham Run for Allergy UK - a charity close to our hearts!
Fourteen-year-old Bradley lives with food allergies and dreams of opening a restaurant which caters for all allergies.
Bradley, who has allergies to nuts and eggs, completed a 2.5km run in Birmingham and raised £95. Congratulations on your achievement.
His mum Jennifer explains: “Bradley wants to be a chef and run a restaurant where people who live with allergies can walk in and order off the menu without any concerns and without any fuss.
“Sometimes we eat out as a family and it’s not always easy; we struggle with the hidden allergens in some recipes and sometimes people don’t understand the potential seriousness off allergies.
“For now, Bradley enjoys running and he wants to help other people. He had his first episode when he was nine months old so can’t remember a time without allergies.
“We’re proud of him and he’s such a sensible boy, he asks questions and he checks menus. We’ve had struggles like everyone else, but we try to stay positive.”
Inspired by Bradley's story, have your own running place or fundraising event idea?
We would love to have you join and be part of our 35th birthday celebrations this year.
