Customer decided to have LED strip lights under the cabinets and under the plinth

LED strip lights
Switch wire feeding LED drivers 24V
Cables routed through the cavity’s where it enters the trunking
The strip lights are then secured in the trunking

Main RCD tripping ❌

Looked like the permanent live had been arcing due to a lose connection, which caused it to melt and create a link between the other conductors.

The cables had to be cut short and extended with new wago boxes so they can be re terminated with a new pendant.

In no time the lights were all back on with the RCD not tripping.
