A Blackpool Colour Story
This unique palette of colours tells us ten individual stories of people and places in Blackpool. It is a bespoke paint range for a town that is held in the nation’s consciousness for its ability to create joy and lift spirits. By maintaining and painting our properties and civic buildings using this paint range, we continue to care for Blackpool and the positive purpose it serves in peoples lives.
Painting the Town is more than a paint range, it is a place-making campaign bringing people together – residents, visitors and organisations and businesses – through the medium of colour.
Painting the Town is a shared desire for renewal in Blackpool – to bring life back to High Streets, to make exits and entrances better and brighter. By painting together, improving the built environment alongside one another, we can begin to reshape perceptions of the town in the longer term and build a Blackpool that attracts new investment, new employees and new visitors one paint pot at a time.
