This project involved the complete refurbishment and waterproofing of an existing flat roof over the rear entrance area of the property.
Scope of Works
* Existing roof surface inspected and prepared for overlay installation.
* New treated timber battens/furring strips installed across the roof deck to create a solid and level framework.
* High-quality structural OSB3 roofing boards fitted and securely fixed throughout the roof area, providing a strong and stable substrate.
* Roof surface cleaned and prepared for waterproof membrane application.
* New one-piece EPDM rubber roofing membrane installed across the entire roof area.
* Membrane fully adhered to the deck using manufacturer-approved adhesives to ensure a durable, watertight finish.
* All seams, edges, and perimeter details professionally sealed.
* New black fascia trim fitted to the front elevation, providing a neat appearance and protecting roof edges from weather exposure.
* Existing rainwater goods integrated with the new roofing system to ensure effective drainage.
