This is one of our very recent jobs we have done for a lovely couple on the new Eden Green development in Finchingfield, who wanted a bigger patio area and a path going round the garden with a seating area and a pergola over the top using porcelain beige slabs. We have used some pleached photinia to try and hide some of the windows. Thanks goes to Mr.Johnny Kemp for help with the patio, Mr Dan.Bishop ( axel carpentry)for the pergola and King & Co for the trees

FEBRUARY JOBS FOR THE GARDEN:

Now is the time to get organised so here are a few tips for you.
- Sprinkle a good slow release fertiliser around the base of roses. This will really make a difference to your blooms.
- Cut back Heather’s after they have flowered to promote growth for next year.
- It’s been unseasonably warm so protection of young fruit tree blossoms will be needed over the next few days as we have a few cold snaps due
- Prune Wisteria buds back to promote growth
- Now is the best time to cut back or reshape your hedges before new spring growth starts to appear.

At our customers request we have paved the front driveway, created a curved gravel drive edged in silver granite setts leading to a sturdy gate providing more privacy. A low supporting wall in yellow brickwork at the front of the garden finishes things off.
