It was a great day for flying. Sunny and no wind at all. The cranes make it a bit difficult though. Anyway, here's a shot from above the new ground towards Central London. All your favourite skyscrapers are there.

A view of the entire site (well almost). Still no work on the north stand and I hear that's a while away from starting.

A trench is being dug down Lionel Road, this is a view of it from above the North Circular. After emptying the space behind the main stand they've started using it for material storage. Also the road around to the BFC Community Trust offices is being constructed, note the sand on the right hand side of the pic that goes down the side of the main and east stands.

The West Stand. Expecting steel work to start here mid-October. On the left-hand side the road behind the North Stand is being laid-out. Narrowly separated from the railway by a thin blue net.

Not some of the Terracotta Army, but the previously drilled piles for the bridge have been exposed. The position of the bridge is clear with Capital Interchange Way on the opposite site of the railway.

Behind the main stand. Here you can see that the rear steelwork has reached Lionel Road. Progress might be appear to be slower this week because there's more steel at this end than in the middle.

The cranes were up on Saturday which means I keep WELL out of the way. Here's a view that shows the main stand has almost reached Lionel Road. Note that the east stand (to the right of the pic) expecting steel work to start here in a few weeks

New video from the weekend Brentford FC's new stadium showing a new piece of kit going on the south stand roof on matchday. Hastily thrown together, a bit slow to start, hope you enjoy.
