AWKWARD ACCESS. COMPLEX DETAILING. ONE SEAMLESS SOLUTION.

Some waterproofing jobs are more awkward than others.

Long, narrow gutters. Restricted access. Multiple joints, complex junctions and plenty of potential weak points for water ingress.

A great example of how liquid waterproofing can extend the life of an existing roof while avoiding the cost, waste and disruption of a complete roof replacement.

Working on behalf of a private residential client, TAF Contractors Ltd transformed this ageing swimming pool roof using the WIDOPAN-FD 2K Polyester Waterproofing System.

Expert attention to detail was applied around the rooflight, perimeter upstands and rainwater outlets and gutters, areas that can be particularly challenging to make watertight using conventional roofing methods, ensuring these critical detail areas were fully sealed and protected.

The completed installation delivered a seamless, durable and flexible waterproofing membrane, backed by our manufacturer’s guarantee of up to 25 years.

Critical infrastructure and WIDOPAN Specialist Training..
Another 14 operatives from dB Attenuation Ltd have successfully completed WIDOPAN Specialist Training, strengthening their ability to deliver high performance waterproofing solutions in some of the UK’s most remote locations with harshest weather conditions.

During the training, the team covered our Specialist Training programme for acoustic enclosures, including:
• WIDOCRYL-Special Primer PM
• WIDOCRYL-PM TEN Waterproofing System
• WIDOCRYL-Topsiegel Top Coat

This latest training builds on a partnership that has now spanned more than 12 years, with successful projects delivered across Canada, Scotland and Wales.

By ensuring new team members receive the same hands-on training, Home Republic Ltd continues to strengthen its expertise in WIDOPAN Cold Applied Liquid Waterproofing Systems.

The training session focused on both the theory and practical application.
The team covered every stage of the installation process, including correct substrate preparation, selecting the appropriate primer for the surface, accurate activation and mixing of the products, and installation of the fleece-reinforced waterproofing membrane, including correct coverage, fleece saturation and detailing to achieve a complete WIDOPAN Waterproofing System.

We look forward to continuing to support the team on future projects and seeing this knowledge put into practice.

Meet the Widopan Wildcats

The Widopan Wildcats will be taking part in the LRWA Charity Team Challenge 2026, raising money for LandAid.
😸
Our team of 5 includes walkers, runners, cyclists and even a swimmer, all contributing in their own way to complete at least 30 minutes of activity every day between 22nd June and 10th July.
😸
From Essex farmland and the Burnham-on-Crouch marina, to golf courses, swimming pools and the beaches and countryside of Scotland, every mile counts towards supporting young people facing homelessness.
😸
Good luck to Team Captain Dan Hewitt, Matthew Adair, Darren Hilton, Liesl Honour and Sara Louise Hamill who will represent Widopan throughout the challenge.
