We recently renovated the galley kitchen and dining area in Porthcawl. Working closely with the customer, we transformed their vision into reality. The room was stripped back to its main shell and then vaulted to create much-needed headroom. We blocked the main doorway and replaced one window with French doors. All walls were completely re-plastered and ready for painting. Reclaimed materials were used throughout, including the kitchen units. Steel joists were boxed in with reclaimed floorboards and all pipework. Both rooms were partially panelled for a classic look. Acrylic worktops topped the countertops and oak flooring covered the floor. Customer were delighted with the finished result and requested us to do further work. This project was designed by the customer, who clearly understood their requirements. The herringbone feature wall with parallel metro tiles was a key element. All bathroom fittings were supplied by Terry Reffell Ltd and met the highest specifications. The customer was delighted that we could bring their vision to life. The customer was left with an incomplete kitchen as the builder contractor ceased work mid-project. The kitchen required the room to be fully re-plastered before new flooring was laid. We subsequently installed the high-gloss kitchen supplied by Howdens. The customer was delighted with the result and regained confidence in the building trade.
