Out with the old…. In with the new!

A space changed up using a blue toned grey which makes it feel fresh every time you walk in. Heavily prepped walls due to cracking and dips and poorly prepped walls. Woodwork sanded and made good to a spray like finish!

The colour is Frosted Steel in Dulux Trade Vinyl Matt

- Crown Fastflow Satin

- Toupret Wood Repair Filler

- Polycell Decorators Caulk

- ProDec Icefusion 4inch Roller Sleeve

All of this combined with the preparation makes the hand painted work look and feel like a spray like finish 🙌

A well needed transformation for this room! 🙌

The walls were previously neglected for many years, we sanded it right back to a smooth surface, primed it right and skimmed it! Pairing the brand new MDF skirtings and wardrobe with smooth walls and ceilings! ⚪️

The colour used is Egyptian cotton, making the space feel warm. Also using Diamond Matt from Dulux making it a durable and maintained surface ready to test time. 🕰️🔨

Finished off with Crown Fastflow Satin in White, using Frogtape to get those lines sharp and crisp 👌

Finishing this job before the weather turning really tested my patience, welsh weather I suppose!

The exterior really needed this freshen up and the client is satisfied with the borders being completed in Goosewing to make them stand out as a feature. ⚪️🔘

Although the weather is turning into winter (and weather permits it), I am still taking bookings for exterior AND interior decoration not just for this year but for next year also! 📅

Customers have asked us, “Is it just painting and decorating you do?” 👀

Nope! We offer a whole range of services — from fitting skirting boards, media walls and plastering to jobs like this one! 🔨

This customer was struggling to use the toilet comfortably as the vanity unit was making the space feel a little too cramped. So, we readjusted and moved the vanity sink drawer over by 50mm.

That small change has made a huge difference! There’s now enough space to comfortably sit on the toilet without feeling like you’re hugging the unit 😂 — while still leaving enough room for the bath panel to be removed if any maintenance is needed.

(And no, I did not test it that way 🤣)

So, is painting and decorating the only thing we do?

Nope — if it needs doing, we’ll do it! 💪🔨

MDF Cupboards done right doesn’t take a lot of preparation. Minor filling and most importantly sanding between coats provides a smooth finish and can make gloss almost like a mirror finish! 🪞 ✨

This project was to match Howdens kitchen cabinets, and now it felt intentionally placed rather than the look like a forgotten cupboard. Also making good for an airing cupboard that was outdated and dusty into a fresh and clean place to store stress free!

A huge job completed for Gordon, although it was a small room it required a LOT of preparation. Monotonous sanding, filling and priming. Filling again and sanding again. To ensure this job lost all of the visible defects and cracks from settlement.

Tested my patience but we got there and the result is speaks for itself!

A freshen up for Terry completed (2 months ago 😬🤣)

The woodwork and walls were in a good enough condition just to lightly sand and fine fill, however a few corners were cracking where a join in plasterboard was.

After raking the corners out, I’ve filled the cracks with fill flex to provide reinforcements in the crack, then scrim to prevent any crack appearing again and filling flush and feathering in these corners to make it like I never did it!

I also didn’t have much time to take photos during as timing was essential to get the job done in time 🫣

Woodwork received the most minimal prep work I’ve ever done which is a good thing as it never is the case in new builds however it still looks better than before! Toping it off with some sharp cutting in!

A pleasure to complete this job for him and his family!
