Ofgem has confirmed that the Energy Price Cap will increase by 4% from 1 October 2026.
For a typical dual-fuel household paying by Direct Debit, the new annualised figure will be Β£1,723 β an increase of Β£60 a year (around Β£5 per month) based on Ofgemβs updated typical household consumption figures.

According to Energy Saving Trust estimates:
