Welcome. Axion Custom Works was created to make guitar parts you can't buy off the shelf.

When you want to make your own dream guitar or need to fix up an old model that won't work with standard parts, this is the place to come. The service and repairs I offer go from simply restringing a classical guitar all the way to neck resets. In between these extremes I will do just about any repair, from set-ups, through electrics repairs, pickup installations, finish touch-ups, nut and saddle

replacement, tremolo installation, fret dressing, re-frets, bracing repairs, bridge repairs, structural repairs and more. If there is something I am not familiar with (there is always something!) I will do my best to refer you to someone who is at the very least competent, and most likely expert, in the work you are looking for. I also produce hand-made instruments, mostly cajones, ukuleles and guitars (acoustic/electric/bass).

Hi all, just a note to inform you that I am now semi-retired, and therefore all guitar service, repair and one-off custom work is no longer available from me. Thanks to everyone that I have done work or made something for in the past 13 years, it was a pleasure!

Just accidentally discovered I made it onto the Brits last Saturday! Well, at least one of my custom pickguards did 😉. Josh (I think!), live guitarist with Wet Leg playing a Duosonic with a guard I made, adapted to his personal requirements. It's the Surf Green guitar visible around 2:10 to 2:15 and again around 3:00 in this clip.

I have two of these style 9-hole pickguard for sale, going cheap due to a cancelled order. Brushed gold faux anodised finish. They are made to AVRI pattern apart from the mounting holes, which in my experience is the most universal fit for USA/Mexico jazz masters. Please note these are not made from aluminium, but they really look the part, good enough to be regularly bought by several high-end builders. Sometimes the simple jobs are the mos satisfying...without seeing the bass or the pickups I made these rings to cover some iffy routing for these in this . The result looks like it was always meant to be like this. One very happy customer makes me happy too!
