🏠 Full Roof Transformation – From Damage to Durable 🏠

This one started as a simple job… but quickly turned into a full rebuild 👇

The client got in touch after their front dormer had completely perished, allowing birds to nest inside the roof space — causing serious damage to both the dormer and the roof itself.

Originally, we were booked to:🔧 Re-clad the dormers🔧 Replace fascia & soffits at lower level🔧 Install a dry verge system

However, once we carried out a full inspection, we uncovered major structural issues…❗ Roof framework had completely rotted❗ Gable end had dropped by around 2 inches

At that point, there was only one proper solution — strip it all back and start again.

Here’s what Seddon Construction LTD delivered:

🪚 Full roof strip out🪵 Brand new structural framework🛡️ New breathable felt installed🏠 Finished in anthracite grey tiles🔩 New dry ridge system with matching anthracite ridge🧱 Gable end fully rebuilt📐 Dry verge system installed🔧 New lower level soffit & fascia

Another quality job completed in Whitefield 👌

We’ve just finished a wall roof install, built as a warm roof system — a great upgrade for both performance and longevity.

A warm roof means the insulation is installed above the roof structure rather than below, which brings some big benefits:

They came to us for a quote, and due to the urgency we had scaffolding up the very next day . From that initial call, the full job was completed within 2 working days — all kept within the client’s budget 👍

Another tidy one wrapped up this week 👌

Full re-roof completed from start to finish — stripped right back and built up properly the right way.

• Old roof removed
• New felt and battens installed
• Finished with slate grey Sandtoft tiles 🔥
• New dry ridge system fitted for a clean, maintenance-free finish
