We also have a large network of trusted Builders and Structural Engineers to assist on your project. We can offer you a full Royal Institute British Architects service from inception to completion be it; Design, Planning, Building Regulations, Tender Action, appointment of builder and Project Managing the build to completion or a partial service to obtain Planning and Building Regulations approval if you are running your own project. The decision which route to follow is often determined by your confidence in the building process, scale of the project and of course your budget. We are traditionally trained in the use of preparing hand drawings for sensitive planning applications as well as fully compliant with AutoCAD and other computer aided software to help present your designs. NEW APPOINTMENT: CALVERTON, NOTTINGHAM

I am delighted to have been appointed to carry out building regulation drawings for a private client on Wood Grove, Calverton, Nottingham. The project is a single-storey extension.

My client approached several other architects and could not get anywjere as many are unable to get passed the planning stage!

PLANNING APPROVAL: WOODTHORPE, NOTTINGHAM

I am delighted to have secured planning approval for minor alterations to an already approved planning application for extensions in Woodthorpe.

The client wanted to change the external make-up which was materially difference to that of the planning application approved, so an application was made to vary the original. This is much easier, cheaper and quicker than a new application.

If you live in a Conservation area or within a Listed Building (or indeed both) then alterting a property is not straight-forward. Any alterations either external or internal requires permission and if you are extending then this is even more complex with many hurdles to cross.

Every project requires building regulation approval and it’s also a legal requirement before you can build. Not every architect’s practice can do these, but we have extensive experience across the board and can ensure you meet your legal obligations.

We normally do these drawings for you if we are appointed form the outset but we can also take on other planning drawings and convert these for you.
