Here’s a question for you...

What do an 18 year old son of a farmer & a 21 year old daughter of an Electrical Asset Manager have in common..? - alot it seems.

In the beginning we were branded “an odd match” what no one realised is that passion, determination & drive arent always things you can see but they are definitely something that we as a couple share. As a partnership we have tackled alot, some good, some bad & some ugly - and thats not just referring to the entire Christmas period were we had no power in the depths of Oxfordshire with 2 ft of snow outside!

For me (Floss) I grew up with Grandparents who lived in one of the most desolate places in the bottom of a Welsh valley meaning the only entertainment you had was to follow after Farmer John (the neighbour) & go and tend some sheep, clearly it rubbed off . I’ve always love sheep, long before I realised how I could potentially make a business from it. I am often hot headed, not always rational but through and through I am passionate. About farming, about livestock and about the future of higher welfare lamb and local produce.

Matthew is my grounding force - for Matt growing up on an all arable farm paved the way to his future- some small dabbles with livestock (cattle mostly) made it quite clear that they weren't particularly his strong suit and that patience certainly was a virtue but unfortunately one he didn't quite have! Throughout the years Matt has shown that no matter how many knock backs may come his way he will always keep ploughing forwards.
