Another successful collaboration between HarvTec and CRHsolutions.
We were called in to repair an industrial Demag 1250kg overhead crane that had been taken out of service due to a failed motor. Following a professional rewind, we fitted, aligned and wired the motor before carrying out the necessary testing and commissioning.
We're pleased to say the crane is now fully operational and back in service, helping our customer minimise downtime and keep production moving safely.
A great team effort from start to finish. Thanks to our customer for trusting us with the repair.

A recent project saw CRHsolutions called in by HarvTec to assist with the diagnosis, consultation, and repair of a Butfering Wide Belt Sander experiencing control system issues.
Working alongside the HarvTec team, we provided technical support during fault finding and assisted with the installation of upgraded control components, helping to ensure the repair and commissioning process ran smoothly from start to finish.
It was a welcome opportunity to step outside our usual compliance and maintenance role and collaborate on a technically challenging engineering project. Combining practical experience, problem-solving, and a bit of technical wizardry, the team successfully restored the machine to full operation.
Most importantly, the customer avoided the significant cost of machine replacement and now has a fully operational asset back in production.
A great example of what can be achieved through collaboration, expertise, and the right approach to engineering challenges.

CRHsolutions were called in today to assist HarvTec with the diagnosis and repair of a fault on an industrial table blast / shot blast machine.

Following detailed inspection and fault finding, we identified a seized gearbox assembly, burnt out motor windings, and excessive bearing wear. The machine was systematically stripped down to allow safe removal of both the drive motor and gearbox for specialist repair and refurbishment.

The motor requires replacement due to winding failure and will also receive new bearings. The gearbox — incorporating both worm drive and lower geared transmission components — has been sent away for repair following internal seizure.

Another successful collaboration with HarvTec, ensuring the customer’s equipment is repaired efficiently and returned to service with minimal downtime.
