Certainly a one off…. Here we have a 4x3 garden room clad in premium Redux board and batten composite cladding… above we have used Raj’s and steel posts to create a floating decking area using decking a composite balustrade system and stainless steel handrail to stairs. Our fantastic customer Helen was supper chilled and trusted the whole process, and looked after us with tea and coffee throughout.

A 6x4m Bespoke Room Outside office and lounge area built for our great customers Paula and David in Whitchurch. Beautiful western red cedar with Shousugiban finish and oiled with Osmo oil to preserve. A large decking area and new fencing and sleeper bed.

We’ve been ever so busy recently and not had time to post so many of our jobs, here another bespoke Room Outside built as an artist studio for I’m sure he’ll have years of creativity in his new Room. Huge thanks to Sarah and Hywel for looking after us all with fantastic fresh coffee daily.
We’ve used a composite cladding for this bespoke 4x3m studio with storage shed attached, internal cladding is a softwood T&G timber painted Matt white.

Our most recent Bespoke Room Outside completed, here we have a 4x3m cement fibre cladding in a beautiful light blue colour.. 2.5m roof projection and Indian sandstone seating area. Hope our lovely customers Amanda and Mark have many years enjoyment from their new Room Outside. Thanks for all the tea and hospitality.

Today marks a huge milestone for Room Outside, it all started on this day 20 years ago! We’ve had good times, bad times and tough times but one thing for sure, we have no regrets. Starting a business is scary, hard, daunting, fun and exhilarating. I’d recommend everyone to give it a go at least once but it’s not for the faint of heart either! We’ve been fortunate enough to have some amazing customers that have shown unwavering support and loyalty for 2 decades and in that time we’ve also had some amazing staff members too! We could never have got this far without that combination. I wonder what the next 20 years will bring?
For now we’re extremely grateful to still be here in an industry that’s always changing and becoming more difficult. Feeling humbled to have been this successful so far.

Beautiful Western Red Cedar being torched to protect its surface for years to come. The Japanese Shousugiban process of treating cedar is fascinating. Can’t wait to see this installed.
