Hedge cutting up in Buckie today on one of our developments. Started blowing a gale and the rains stopped play, just in time for lunch 👌.

Today was a mixed bag weather wise to finish up the week. We had it good up until 1pm when the rain decided to hit with a heavy drizzle. We finished up the week with a second visit to 8 Acres, Elgin. Strimming back vegetation roadside amongst various other areas across the site. Edging was also carried out after years of neglect which had resulted in the kerbs being completely hidden from view. A good sharp edge can really set off a lawn.

We'll be doing overtime on Saturday cutting hedges for one of our regular clients in Rothes to try and keep up with demand.

New Contract!!!

We recently secured a new contract covering grounds maintenance to Eight Acres Hotel, Elgin. With the first visit carried out today we've managed to bring back a number of overgrown areas under control. Still a number of areas in need of attention before the grand opening with more lawn areas needing work and also to create a new edge between lawn and kerb creating that sharp look 👌.

NEW CONTRACT!!!

Sundays road trip has taken us across the border into England to pick up the latest piece of kit. As we've secured our biggest contract to date the Ransome Spider 2SGS was a must have. With the new site having some very challenging terrain this machine will help tackle the job in hand with ease.

It's also compatible for maintaing solar panel farms 🌞

For the past 5 years we've had the honour and privilege of looking after the historical site, Knockando Woolmill. It has to be one of our favourite places to work in, steeped in history and teaming with wildlife. Sit back with a Red Roof coffee from the on site cafe and listen to the 🐦 sing.

Another good reduction carried out today for one of our sites in the miserable but much needed 🌧. Shrubs taken back down to fence height and a clear line of sight down neighbouring fence lines. The contoneaster was cut back hard to the kerb edging as it had overspilled massively reducing the width of pavements. This has created a much safer space for residents with pushchairs or wheel chair users gaining the full width once again.

Cutting it back hard at this time of year will allow the plant to heal in time for winter and put on a fresh covering of green 🍃 for aesthetics.
