Today we were delighted to begin the lighting design for the magnificent Beverley Minster.
It was a privilege to meet with the Minster team and project architect to explore how light can enhance and reveal the beauty, architecture, and heritage of this extraordinary building.
These images capture just a few of the highlights from the day, from the breathtaking nave and soaring vaults, to the remarkable organ screen designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott and carved by Beverley craftsman James Elwell in the late 19th century, and the medieval treadwheel crane high in the tower, once used to lift stone and building materials during the Minster’s construction and maintenance.
We look forward to helping tell the story of this remarkable building through light.
