Transformed this tired drab looking house.
Morcombelake Dorset.
The property was suffering from a previous poor redecoration, with blistering, poor adhesion, trapped moisture.
The surface coatings, were failing in many areas.
It required a good clean down, treatment, filling, adhesion primers and removal of the blisters. To gain a once again sound base/surface to repaint.
After thorough preparation, Dulux weathershield masonry was applied to the clients colour choice.
With a Dulux weathershield satin to the fascia’s and bargeboards.
Various other repairs completed, timber joinery, replacement downpipes etc.
An added challenge as seen with the blue sky, was managing timings, as the surface temperature of the walls increased during the July heatwave. With the surface temperature being too high to be painted. It required us to follow the sun and carry it out as the shade/reduced temperature followed.
How many painters think about that!!!
Transformation- getting an old cottage back to its former glory and how it should look. 👀
