The GB4 Championship reaches Snetterton this weekend for Round 5, with Holly Miall and the KMR Sport team back on the grid.

Snetterton is one of the faster circuits on the calendar. The long Bentley Straight, the fast Coram corner and the heavy braking into Murrays provide a demanding mix of speed and precision. With more rounds now behind her, Holly heads into the weekend with valuable seat time as the championship moves into its second half. 🏁

Bringing on the next generation of insulation engineers matters to us at OJM. 👷

Our apprentice George is continuing to build the classroom knowledge that sits behind good work on the tools, alongside his time on site with the team.

Skilled mechanical insulation does not happen by accident. It takes training, standards, and time served next to people who know the trade. Proud to support George on that journey, and grateful to TICA for the training that underpins it.

As the summer holidays get under way, our education projects are moving into a busy period ahead of the new term. ☀️

Across our sites, work is progressing on concealed pipework above ceilings and within risers, ductwork through halls and corridors, and the plantroom insulation that brings everything together.

Good planning is particularly important during this short summer window, helping each area progress smoothly and ensuring sites are left clean and ready to hand back for September.

It is always satisfying to see plans made earlier in the year taking shape on site. We will share more as the projects move towards completion.

It may be August, but the time to plan freeze protection is now, not the first cold snap. ❄️

Where a pipe cannot be allowed to freeze, or a process has to hold its temperature, trace heating does the job insulation alone cannot. OJM Insulations installs trace heating across pipework and tanks, then insulates over the top so the whole system runs efficiently through the winter.

It is the quiet detail that keeps water moving and plant protected when the temperature drops. If you have vulnerable pipework or a critical process, now is the time to talk. Link in profile.

Another new project, this time in the healthcare sector. 🏥

OJM Insulations is on site at the Princess Royal Hospital in Haywards Heath, insulating new and existing pipework in the plantroom. Hospitals never really close, so this is work planned and sequenced around a live, occupied building, with continuity of heating and hot water protected throughout.

Precise, low-disruption, and delivered to standard. It is exactly the kind of environment our teams are built for. Updates to follow.

The GB4 Championship returns to Silverstone this weekend, on the 1st and 2nd of August, and Holly Miall will be back on the grid with KMR Sport as we hit the halfway point of the season. 🏁

Silverstone's fast, flowing layout rewards commitment and a clean lap, and Holly heads there with more racing behind her this season and plenty to push for.

A new project to share as our summer programme continues. 🎓

OJM Insulations is on site at Thomas College in Richmond, where the team has started insulating pipework across a number of rooms throughout the college. Education estates give us a short, defined window over the summer to work and get it right before staff and students return.

Careful planning, minimal disruption, and a finish built to perform through the winters ahead. Good to be underway. Updates to follow as the works progress!

A third education sector appointment for the summer programme.

OJM Insulations has been appointed to deliver insulation works on the Trinity College Burrells Field decarbonisation project. Scope covers the concealed, external and plantroom pipework that underpins the mechanical changes.

Decarbonisation work on older estates is where mechanical insulation earns its keep. Cutting heat loss across the distribution system is one of the cheapest ways to lift the performance of a refurbished plant set-up. 🌱
