This customer called as they were hearing noises in the walls!
A quick look around downstairs and discovered a toilet had been removed for renovation.
The customer had placed a bag around the toilet waste pipe and used tape to secure it.
Rats had chewed the bag and made their way into the wall void via the sink waste pipe.
We have placed a b**g into the toilet waste pipe to prevent more rats from entering whilst we carry out a trapping program.

What’s going on here!

Called to a property that’s hearing noises underneath the floor.
A quick look around the outside of the property showed no signs of entry points.
Lifted the man hole cover and noticed the gap between the two outlets leading straight to where the noises are being heard.
Full treatment underway with drain repair.

This Installer of the Month entry comes from Ben at Elimin8 Pest Control , who was called out to help a customer dealing with nuisance pigeons roosting and fouling on a covered area outside a bedroom. Sometimes the smaller jobs make the biggest difference to the people living with the problem 🐦💩

It might look like a small install, but when pigeons are sitting right outside where you sleep, the mess is only part of the issue. The noise, the constant cleaning and the general grimness of bird fouling so close to the house can quickly become a daily frustration.

Ben fitted Defender Stainless Steel Bird Spikes along the pipe work and the alarm system. For the gutters he fitted them with gutter clips to stop pigeons from roosting, giving the customer a much cleaner, quieter and more comfortable space again.

A neat and practical job, and a lovely reminder that bird proofing does not always have to be huge to be hugely appreciated 👏

A little spiking job carried out for this customer experiencing nuisance pigeons roosting and fouling on this covered area outside a bedroom which was also causing noise disturbance.
Defender Bird Spikes stainless spikes and gutter clips have been applied to prevent pigeons from roosting in this location.
