What a difference to last year, grass yields and quality are excellent, and arable crops look promising, with the exceptional early grass harvest, were well on top of our workload so have availability for all grass operations, as forage now seems to move around the country more, we’re seeing more interest in square bales, easier to load and transport, we have 4 and 6 string balers available

Difference between yesterday’s normal slurry against today’s separated slurry, separated liquid soaks straight in, making the most of the available nutrients, and doesn’t suppress grass regrowth

Mayday muck spreading!
Team effort today, pumping slurry 2200 mtrs down the underground irrigation main, into our holding tank, then pumping it on again another 1200 mtrs to the dribble bar, 3400 mtrs all together (2.1 mile in old money)

Tad dry, but there is a bit of moisture underneath, few days later than last year as soil temperature has only just warmed up

Very busy few days, from separating at an AD plant near Newmarket in Suffolk, to spraying grassland in the Derbyshire Peak District… flat land to hills !!, no two days are the same these jobs where 150 mile apart, variety is the spice of life!!

We have our 60m3 slurry holding tank available for hire. Ideal for tanking to, then spreading in the field with the umbilical cord.
We can also separate slurry into this and then pump the liquid away with the umbilical as well
