Here we go with another disgraceful job where people think they can save money, by getting a friend of a friend to replace their consumer unit.customer called with report of sockets tripping which has been dealt with.main switch not even fitting correctly inside the consumer unit because they couldn’t be bothered to replace the meter tails. This has resulted in leaving the 2 screws under the switch exposing live terminals a fraction away from the metal work. No testing or certification issued (surprise surprise) As this needs ripping out and starting again, the customer has literally thrown her money down the drain with whoever did it

Quiet possibly one of the worst Landlords tests I have done. 5kw oven on a plug and extension lead, broken sockets throughout the house.No Rcd protection or earth bonding , no smoke alarms installed. The list goes on and on
