This customer came to me with a shower that was constantly dripping due to a failed cartridge, unfortunately due to the age of it replacement parts were no longer available so a new shower was necessary. Luckily the customer had 2 spare tiles from when it was installed around 15 years ago 👌🏻

Did you know working on Unvented Systems is a separate qualification that not all heating engineers hold?
Here is a before & after of an old, failed BoilerMate 2000 hot water system which I replaced with a new energy efficient 120L Unvented Hot Water Cylinder.

Before & After pictures of a new "Heat Only" Boiler Installation.
Upon removing the old one, you can see here another perished flue.
It was a tight squeeze working round the current hot water cylinder but still managed to install the magnetic heating filter in the middle to help future proof the system.
Customer now has peace of mind with a 7 year warranty.

The importance of a Boiler Service ⤵️
This customer called me for a routine service and upon inspection my analyser detected extreme levels of Carbon Monoxide (a silent killer)
This is because the products of combustion were being sucked back in through these holes in the boiler's flue. Luckily this customer's case seals were still in tact but had these been perished too it would have caused the Carbon Monoxide to enter their home, creating a life threatening situation.
New flue fitted ✔️
Service complete ✔️
