Giraffe Engineering is a dynamic and growing team of structural engineers working on a diverse range of challenging projects, continually expanding our horizons, exploring new ways of delivering the best outcome for our clients and pushing the envelope on low-carbon solutions and efficient structural design.

Our office is located 50 metres from Chippenham train station, which is 13 minutes on the train from Bath, 12 minutes from Swindon and 24 minutes from Bristol.

We have the opportunity to take on a new Senior Structural Engineer to join us on this adventure; to help deliver our growing project portfolio, and to be a part of shaping the future direction of the firm.

Last week we had the pleasure of having a Year 10 work experience student with us.

World Giraffe Day 2025 was this weekend. Here we are excited to hear the news from that three of the four main giraffes species are now increasing in population and the forth has stabilised. Encouraging signs that conservation efforts are making a difference to our tallest land animal

Great to see the steel frame going up on this community project of ours with B2 Architecture.

Construction update
Main frame of the new building now complete and in good time. Work will now start on the ground floor brick work.

The crane will return to fit the ground floor, stairs and first floor later next month.

The construction team have been blessed with excellent weather (so far) with completion still on schedule for end of October.

Thanks everyone for their on going understanding when using the centre and surrounding area. It seems amazing that we could be open in just over 7 months time.
