Cotswold Decorative Ironworkers is a family-run business based in the Cotswolds, specialising in the design and manufacture of high-quality decorative ironwork. We produce a wide range of traditional products, including Estate Fencing, Gates, Tree Guards, Bridges, and bespoke commissions for private estates, farms, commercial properties, and homes across the UK.
THE ROLE
We have an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking Delivery Driver to join our growing team in Chipping Norton. The role primarily involves nationwide deliveries using Transit or Sprinter flatbeds, including loading, transporting, and unloading our products safely and professionally. You may also be asked to assist with general workshop duties, order preparation and yard organisation when required. This is a varied, hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys being part of a practical and supportive team environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
▪️Carrying out nationwide deliveries
▪️ Loading and unloading vehicles safely
▪️Ensuring deliveries arrive on time and in good condition
▪️Assisting with order preparation and general yard duties - when needed
▪️Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and basic daily checks
▪️Providing excellent customer service
REQUIREMENTS
▪️At least 25 years old
▪️ Full UK driving licence
▪️Previous driving or delivery experience preferred
▪️Good practical and organisational skills
▪️Positive attitude and willingness to help where needed
DESIRABLE (BUT NOT ESSENTIAL)
▪️HGV License - Class 2 (officially a Category C licence)
▪️CPC qualification
▪️Forklift licence
▪️ Hiab experience or certification - HIAB training can be provided for the right candidate
POSITION DETAILS
▪️Location: Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire (OX7)
▪️Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (45 hours per week)
▪️Salary: Starting rate of £14.00 per hour. Competitive salary, dependent on experience.
