Continued Progress at Queen Elizabeth Hospital

Works continue on Wards 2 & 4 at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, where we’re working in partnership with VINCI Facilities to deliver important refurbishment improvements within a live healthcare environment.

Our teams are progressing with internal redecoration, new flooring and ceiling upgrades, alongside the installation of colour-coded Whiterock wall protection to bed bays.

The use of carefully selected colours is particularly important within the ward environment, helping to support patients living with dementia by making spaces easier to recognise and navigate.

Working within an operational healthcare setting requires careful planning, coordination and attention to detail at every stage. Our teams continue to work closely with all stakeholders to ensure the project progresses safely, efficiently and with minimal disruption to patients and staff.

We’re proud to see the project progressing and to be contributing to a safer, more welcoming and supportive environment for everyone who uses the hospital.

LMAC’s First Padel Event Raises Over £3,000 for Eden’s Trust
Friday 10th July marked the inaugural LMAC Padel Event, held at Brentwood Padel Club Padel Club, bringing together colleagues, clients and partners for a fantastic day of sport, networking and fundraising in support of Eden’s Trust – a local charity that provides free bereavement counselling to families who have experienced the loss of a child or sibling.
 
Around 40 participants, including members of the LMAC team, took to the courts for a day of friendly but competitive padel. The event began with a warm welcome from Lee, followed by a heartfelt and inspiring speech from Elli Galvani, Founder of Eden’s Trust, who shared the incredible work the charity does to support local families during their most difficult times.
 
Off the court, guests enjoyed freshly made pizza from The Slow Dough Pizza Co. Limited pizza truck, while a live DJ kept the atmosphere upbeat and welcoming. A charity raffle also helped boost fundraising efforts.
 
A special thanks goes to our sponsors T&R Fire Protection and Brookview Construction Ltd, and to the generosity of everyone who attended, and donated, the event raised an incredible £3,015 for Eden’s Trust.
 
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success. It was a brilliant first LMAC Padel Event, and we’re incredibly proud to have supported such a worthwhile local charity.

It’s been a busy few weeks engaging with young people across East London & Essex secondary schools, and with professionals on how best to connect with them.

It started with LMAC’s contribution to Morgan Sindall Group plc & Essex County Council’s Building a Lasting Legacy initiative — hosting students from Hylands and Sandon Secondary Schools for an interactive careers event at our offices, complete with housing sector challenges, an office tour, and the chance to meet our teams.

Next, as a Business Volunteer for Local London Careers Hub East, Nadia attended a Continuous Professional Development & Networking event featuring guest speaker Robin Lockhart, whose session on Seeing young people differently was genuinely insightful.

At Kelmscott Secondary School in Walthamstow, we ran two workshops — one on career paths and admin roles in property services, the other a hands-on demo from our Fire Stopping and Electrical teams, which was a huge hit with students and teachers alike.

Finally, at Valentines High School in Ilford, Nadia supported a mock interview event for Year 10, meeting eight ambitious, engaged students with real personality.

Working with young people is a vital part of social value delivery; we are proud to be an organisation that recognises this.

Creating Space for Conversations That Matter

At LMAC Group, we believe that strong communities are built when people feel connected, supported, and able to talk openly about the challenges they face.
That’s why we’re proud to be supporting , an inspiring organisation that is using the power of football to improve men’s mental health and wellbeing.
 
Tuesday night saw the successful launch of Talk FC Fairlop at Powerleague Fairlop Waters, bringing together local men in a safe, welcoming environment where they can get active, build friendships, and support one another.
While football is what brings people together, the real impact happens after the final whistle.
 
As Scott Johnson, Founder of Talk FC CIC, explains:
“LMAC’s investment has enabled Talk FC to bring our programme to Fairlop for the first time — reaching men in the local community who would never have walked into a counselling room or a wellbeing service, but who absolutely show up for a kickabout on a Tuesday night.
What happens after that final whistle is where the real impact lives. Men are talking, connecting, and supporting each other in ways they tell us they haven’t done in years. LMAC haven’t just sponsored a football session — they’ve helped us create a space where men feel safe enough to be honest about how they’re really doing. That’s something with a value you simply can’t put a number on.”
 
We are incredibly proud to play a small part in helping create opportunities for people to connect, support one another, and improve both their physical and mental wellbeing.
 
A huge congratulations to Scott and the Talk FC team on a fantastic first session and thank you to everyone who attended and helped make it such a success.
 
The first 10 sessions are completely FREE and open to men aged 20–55.

⚽ FAIRLOP – WE'RE UNDERWAY! ⚽

A huge thank you to everyone who attended our very first Talk FC Fairlop session this evening.

It was fantastic to welcome a couple of new lads from the local Fairlop area, supported by some of our Havering cohort who came along to help get the session off the ground and show what Talk FC is all about 💚

The football and facility was great, but as always, it's about much more than that. It's about creating a welcoming environment where men can connect, get active, have a laugh, and support one another.

This is another exciting step in the Talk FC journey as we continue to grow our community and bring our model to new areas.

If you're a man aged 20–55 and fancy getting involved, there's still plenty of time to join us.
