We are Hiring: Experienced Metal Fabricator 🛠️

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Metal Fabricator with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience to join our production team. This is a role for a fabricator who takes pride in producing quality work, safely and as part of a team. You will be responsible for taking projects from technical drawings through to finished assemblies, working with a wide variety of materials and thicknesses in our modern facility 🏭
Key Responsibilities
Interpret and work directly from technical drawings
Demonstrate proficiency in working with both Mild steel & Stainless steel ⚙️
Confidently fabricate materials ranging from 2mm sheet metal up to 30mm plate with the vast majority of parts being Laser cut in house ⚡
Set up and operate Press brakes, drills, saws, and various pneumatic and hand tools 🔧
Welding & Finishing
MIG Welding: Perform MIG welding to a high structural and aesthetic standard ⚡
TIG Welding: Proficiency in TIG is not required but is considered a distinct advantage ✨
Quality Control: Ensure all welds and fabrications meet tight tolerances and project specifications before moving to the next stage of production ✅
Teamwork & Environment
Collaboration: Work effectively within a team, communicating with supervisors and peers to ensure project deadlines are met efficiently 🤝
Safety First: Maintain strict adherence to all Health and Safety requirements, including the use of LEV/extraction and PPE 🛡️
Pride in the Workplace: Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient working environment 🧹
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a metal fabrication environment 🏗️
Experience using a forklift (counterbalance) is essential and a valid licence is advantageous 🚜
Knowledge of how to handle and prep different metal types to prevent cross-contamination (especially between carbon and stainless steel) 🧼
What We Offer
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (Minimum 37.5 hours per week) 📅
Competitive Pay: £14 - £16 per hour plus available overtime
