Alarm call ⚠️ Regulations on smoke, heat and carbon monoxide alarms come into operation this Sunday 1 September 2024, for all new private tenancies granted on or after this date. Existing tenancies granted before 1 September 2024, must comply by 1 December 2024 this means all private rented properties must comply and install the required smoke, heat and carbon monoxide alarms by the compliance dates.
