Friday maintenance work 🔨

Amongst a handful of smaller jobs today, we raked out, re-fitted and re-pointed this lead flashing, ensuring a neat finish and helping keep everything weatherproof.

Another little job ticked off before the weekend! 👌

Something a little different for us today… Moss removal! 🌿

The client wasn’t keen on a full jet wash, as they wanted to retain the original colour and natural, weathered appearance of the roof tiles.

So, it was out with the scraper first, carefully removing the moss before giving everything a rinse down.

The end result speaks for itself! A much cleaner-looking roof, the original character of the tiles preserved, and a huge reduction in the amount of moss making its way into the gutters.

Another happy customer! 👌

A major plastering job for us over the last week or so! 💪

The utility room, hallway, stairway, landing and toilet have all had either backing plaster or boarding completed, followed by a full skim throughout.

Safe to say there was plenty of hard work involved, but another job progressing nicely and a great transformation taking shape!

Who needs the gym when you’ve got jobs like this to keep you busy? 😂💪

One of this week’s jobs was to remove an old solid wood door and frame that had definitely seen better days, and replace it with this lovely new oak door and frame! 🙌

The transformation has made such a difference, not only aesthetically from the outside, but also by allowing so much more natural light into the internal room. ☀️

Another fantastic upgrade that’s made a real difference to both the look and feel of the space! 👌

Bit of nostalgia this week, pointing job for a good friend who lives in what was once a public house that was a regular haunt of my friend group in our teenage years, and again when part of a local fishing club
Top half of the property raked out and repointed with a ‘bag rub’ finish to match existing, client so pleased now wants the bottom doing to match!

Nice little bathroom spruce up this week, a lick of white paint to the ceiling before 2 coats to the walls from a cream to a grey, finishing off with a new bath panel set

Keeping it in the Family!… With the ‘Son’ now securing himself full time work elsewhere, Iv currently got access to ‘Daughter’ for help until she starts her Hairdressing apprenticeship in a few weeks time
