First stage of an eaves space renovation finished in this beautiful arts and crafts home.
We are widening the floorspace and creating an insulated modern games room for the kids complete with hidden storage and sleepover pods (for when little guests are allowed back in the house)!
After plaster dries, and decoration finished, we will be creating made to measure furniture and lights to bring the room to life.

Halfway stage of our eaves space transformation into a children's games room.
2 mattress size openings created for post lockdown sleepovers and openings made for fitted storage on the opposite side.
All structural work finished, dormer height raised, floors levelled, lights and sockets relocated and space fully insulated. Ready for plasterboarding next and creation of a secret children's entrance...! More updates to follow after Easter.

Good evening everyone, following my last post, I have now changed my business name from 'HOMEWORK' to 'Parkwood Carpentry'.

Thanks to your support and repeat business, I have been able to expand the business recently, taking on a larger and better equipped dedicated joinery workshop. I now am proud to work on a full-time basis with some amazingly talented furniture makers.

Our business name, Logo and email address has changed recently to better reflect the services we offer.

However, our team, passion for service, and standards have not.
We are still helping clients and businesses to design and create beautiful made to measure furniture at affordable prices.

This remains very much at the heart of what we do.

Dear Customers and Followers of my 'Homework' business page,
Exciting changes are coming next week, please read on and watch out for further posts......

Thanks to your repeat business, recommendations and word of mouth support, Homework has grown rapidly over the past few years and now focuses mainly in designing and making beautiful and functional made to measure furniture.

To meet the current demand of bookings and prepare for next year, we are proud to announce we will be expanding our small highly skilled workshop team and will be making our furniture in a larger and newly acquired local joinery.

This will not only help reduce our lead times and offer our customers a much wider range of furniture designs, but also further improve the quality of our finished furniture and help us pass on any savings through purchasing our materials in larger quantities.

The quality standards and core furniture making team remain the same, but the Homework page will undergo some noticeable changes over the coming days.

For example, you will note the business name will change to 'Parkwood Carpentry' and including a new logo and links to a website where more detail of our furniture and projects can be found.
