Fascinating facts about mice

1. They can squeeze through tiny gaps
A house mouse can fit through a hole about 6–7 mm wide (roughly the size of a pencil). This is why they enter through small cracks around pipes and doors.

3. They reproduce extremely fast
Gestation: about 21 days
Between 5-10 litters a year
5–7 pups per litter but can be up to 12!
This is why infestations can grow so quickly.

4. They constantly need to gnaw
Their front teeth never stop growing, so they must chew on wood, plastic, and even soft metals to keep them trimmed.

5. Cheese is not their favourite food…
Typically they prefer grain, peanut butter or even chocolate.

6. Peppermint oil keeps mice away.
