A wet one in Bedworth! ☔️

After several large limbs failed in this mature willow, our customer asked us to carry out works to make the tree safe and manageable for the future.

We created a new pollard framework, significantly reducing the weight and sail effect of the canopy while retaining the tree.

It might look drastic now, but willow responds exceptionally well to pollarding. Before long it will produce vigorous new growth, forming a full weeping canopy once again, and can then be managed on a regular cycle every few years.

A great way to keep a much-loved tree in the garden while reducing future risk.

Freddie always asks if he can come to work so today we’ve had a couple of hours out together. 2 jobs done ✅

Job 1 - Prune a Yew that Freddie described as ‘exploded’ to try and retain it rather than go for a removal.

Job 2 - Prune a small front garden tree for a lovely neighbour of ours.

All glowing reviews, plenty of orange squash and a few biscuits. Happy Freddie, Happy customers 😎
