Thinking of a home rewire?
Why might you need it? - typically most houses are ok, as long as there have been no major changes or no DIY Daves living in them - the houses I’ve rewired have been because of multiple extensions to one home, others being old and DIY jobs done throughout. 🧑🏼🔧
For instance, the last one I done had approx 25 junction boxes under the floor, including the cooker circuit and shower circuit, a load of sockets with one cable at it, and a load of stuff spurred off the sockets.
Houses before 1966 (and around it) may have old cabling in it, whether it’s the old rubber stuff, or twin cable with no Earth, and this might be another reason for a rewire.
How much does it cost?
It’s not cheap, every house varies, but it’s easily 5k+ 💰
If your thinking about it, even in the long run, get in touch with me for a quote, I can nip out and make a list up and get back to you within a week with a price. 🖊️
Rewired are not completely necessary, I can call out and survey a property free of charge, offer services such as an EICR, New Fuseboard or a general improvement of electrical accessories to keep you safe 😃
All houses receive a new fuseboard, full new cabling, everything on its own circuit, and a test/certificate after to ensure/prove safety. ✅
