🔋 Lithium-ion battery safety matters 🔋
A recent BBC report showed how dangerous a faulty phone battery can be, and it’s a reminder not to ignore the warning signs. If your device battery has reduced life, getting hot, or showing any swelling, it may need replacing before it becomes a serious risk.
We repair and replace batteries as part of our service, helping keep your phones, tablets, and other devices safe and working properly.
All batteries we use are fully tested, safety certified, and RoHS compliant, so you can trust the quality of every replacement.
Don’t wait until a battery fault turns into a fire hazard. If your device battery is failing, swollen, or behaving unusually, get it checked and replaced by us for peace of mind and safer everyday use.
When most devices hit around 500 charge cycles or drop to around 80% battery health, it’s time for a replacement to avoid the risks above.
The tale tale signs on iPhones (up to 16) is the screen bulging out from the housing. To check this, simply remove the phone from the case and look at the phone from the side. If the screen is being pushed out (usually in the middle) then this is a classic sign the battery has swelled and you should stop using the device and do not charge it.
iPhone 16 and newer or other phones tend to push out from the rear and should be checked in the same way.
Stay safe. Replace early. Protect your device and your home.
